The Story Behind Each Product:

All our products are handmade and formulated from sustainably sourced plant-based ingredients.

Exfoliators (Scrubs)

While travelling for research in Latin America, our founder needed a simple, gentle & effective exfoliator for sensitive skin. Upon checking the shelves, there were limited natural products without perfumes, dyes, or products with therapeutic benefits, yet an abundance of raw materials in the local environment; the first charcoal facial scrub was developed. Concurrently, a couple of friends (coffee farmers) needed an edge for their first coffee trade show; our founder used their locally farmed coffee and cocoa (cacao) to produce a batch of scrubs that fascinated patrons. Needless to say, they won the show, and Raindrops Gardens was born!

The scrubs have since evolved and formulated for various conditions that impact the skin on a daily basis.

Cleansers (Soaps)

For many years, our founder's favorite was a chocolate-infused soothing soap. Unfortunately, the product was discontinued, and again, out of necessity, our founder was inclined to meet the need to maintain the beauty standards. The soaps were born!

Moisturizers (Body Butter)

The first body butter was developed when the late husband of a childhood friend needed a moisturizer for extremely dry, cracked skin while undergoing treatment for a terminal condition. Raindrops Gardens combined antioxidant-rich fats and oils to create a balanced, soothing, yet moisturizing body butter.

The Abyss Specialty Line

This collection was formulated during the 2020 pandemic when our founder's skin was not responding well to the environment, yet no commercially available topical product would work to clarify the skin. After quickly realizing her problem wasn't isolated, the Abyss Specialty Collection was born.

3R's Hair Oil- Rejuvenate. Revive. Recover.

Embracing change as it can be regarded as the only true constant in our human existence, the Queen Mother opted for a new look, and she transitioned to eliminating all chemicals from her hair routine. However, after many years of bleaching, coloring and other chemical alterations, there was significant damage to her hair follicles that presented itself as areas of thinning and balding. An in-house formulation was developed that yielded a noticeable difference within one week; she quickly suggested that this product should be shared. When asked, Ma, how should I name it? She responded, "3R's because it Rejuvenated, Revived and Recovered my hair"!
